Appeals for Help.....Looking for Family

I am researching my family tree and would be interested to hear from any TIPPING'S in the Goole/Howden/Eastrington area. I have got back to 1850 and find that some of my descendants were also called NUTBROWNE, DENT and BAILEY. So, if that's your name we may be related !! Look forward to hearing from you.

My name is Peter Jackson and I am looking for the family of my father Mr Frank Bradbury-Jackson who was born in Goole in the 1920s. he moved to London and married my mother. I have never met or had contact with any member of my fathers family and he never talked about them before his death over 20 years ago. I just thought it would be nice to make the link.

Very interested to catch up on Goole progress on your comprehensive website. It is nearly seventy years since I was there visiting my cousin Gwyneth Steele in Westfield Avenue. We have lost touch and it would give me much pleasure to hear from her again or of her.I think her married name is Richardson and that she had two daughters around 1960. Her father was Eli Steele. Any help or information would be much appreciated. Thankyou. W. Stanley.

Dear Visitors to Goole-Guide:  I am looking for my Grandparents who are believed to have been born in Goole.  My grandfathers name was William Barker born about 1884 - 1886 and my grandmother was Mable Seaton born about 1891-1892.  The story in our family is that one of their parents owned a Railroad that was expropriated by the 'government'.  My grandparents emigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1910. So far we have only been able to establish they were married in 1910 (due to a newspaper article regarding their 50th wedding anniversary).  Could you please tell me who, in Goole, I could contact to verify this information?  I would appreciate any direction you could give me -- I have been unable to find anything much about either family.  Thanks, Marilyn Kozak

Can anyone help find out information about these relatives of Marilyn's ?

Please contact us with any info using our feedback form or contact Marilyn by e-mail at smkozak@attglobal.net

Thank You

I am looking for information on my grandmothers family she was Rebecca Ann Bailey born 1888,  56 George street Goole, her fathers name John Newton Bailey a seaman, mother Rebecca Bailey. any information please contact Brian Haywood at brian@briankath.fsnet.co.uk

**********************************

My ancestors came from Hook. Which I understand is part of Goole now. Their surname was ROBINSON.  All born in Hook. The first names, with dates, are:
William b. abt 1700 (my gggggg grandfather)
William b. 1723 (my ggggg grandfather)
Thomas b. 1752 (my gggg grandfather)
Mark b. 1775 who married Sarah Simmons in 1808 (my Great-great-great grandparents) whose children were:
Susannah b. 1809
John b. 1810
William b. 1811
Thomas b. 1815
Joseph S. b. 1821 (My great-great grandfather)
>From Mark on down, came to the States in about 1840. I feel that the ones prior to Mark are all buried in Hook. I would love to know where they are buried. And if there are any Robinson's or relatives that may still be in the area. If there are still tombstones with their names on it. I do know that some of the Robinson's started the Primitive Methodist Church in the States and therefore may have been involved with the Methodist Church in Hook or there about.
I would be happy to pay for any cost that may be incurred in helping me. Even though I have never been to England I feel that my heart is there.
Sincerely,
DeLories (Robinson) Vaughn
